Chapter 35: Borrowed Pose  
Jayson's fists clenched tightly as he absorbed Mrs. Wilson's words. He had severely underestimated her determination to pin the blame on him. The realization washed over him that he couldn't alter the past; he could only find a way to benefit from it.

Elena noticed his presence and turned toward him. "Jayson, come join us for dinner. Why are you just standing there?" Her face beamed with warmth, radiating the essence of a loving wife.

With a hint of annoyance, Jayson rolled his eyes. He swaggered over to the vacant chair beside Elena and began devouring his meal, deliberately avoiding eye contact with the faces gathered around the dining table.

"Now that you're here, Jayson, everything will be much easier. You and that woman will have to take a photo together, and I expect you to stay home tomorrow," Mrs. Wilson declared firmly, her tone resembling a command.
