THE LIFE VICTOR DESIRES

After Butler Kain departed, Victor took a contemplative pause, gazing at the card momentarily before tucking it away into his pocket.

With a decisive movement, he then ascended back to the top floor.

The following morning, Victor descended from the uppermost floor using his private elevator. A light tune escaped his lips as he strolled through his lavish abode.

Retrieving his phone from his pocket, he attempted to reach his wife, but to no avail – her number led to voicemail. Undeterred, he recorded a heartfelt voicemail.

"Hello, my love. How's your morning? I find myself missing you tremendously. Currently, I'm on my way to collect Amanda from the hospital. I've started the acquisition of essentials and things we need for our new home, aiming for us to possibly relocate today. After work, I plan to swing by to pick you up, and together, we will pick up mom before heading there. Can't wait to see you. I love you."
