An underground city.

Charles thought it would be more like a dungeon with a ceiling like that of a cave. However, when the elevator’s doors opened, he felt like he was in a world of its own. A dark world, where flame torches were the only sources of light.

He couldn’t see the end, but the bar owner kept bragging about the city and told them that it was over 16,000 square kilometers in area, and at the center of it, about 300 square kilometers was where the citizens lived.
