“No Sir. We didn’t see anything. We only came across him laying helplessly in the floor.”. Tan answered.

Tan was trembling he gulped so many times to calm his nerves down.

“ You may leave am done with you. But remember my eyes are on you everywhere so make sure you don’t slip.” Eagle cautioned

Tan stood up and saluted him.

He came out of the conference room and saw Major and the other two senior Majors infront of the door.

“ are you okay?”. The Major asked.

“. Yes sir am fine.”. Tan replied.

“. You don’t look so well. Did anything happen in there?” asked the Major.

“. No Sir. Everything was fine”. Tan answered and saluted them to leave.

Tan left and the Major could obviously see how he wasn’t himself leaving the conference room
