Upon Leonard's arrival to his parents house, he met the front door locked, but funnily, the lights were on which took him by surprise. They never left the lights on whenever they were leaving the house because of the cost. It was even ingrained in visitors at least today but he didn't understand what was happening right there.

He checked under the flower pot to know what was actually wrong with them. He needed to ransack the house and see if he would gather any evidence that would vindicate him. He would rather he went away at least for the first part of the year after getting the answers he desperately needed.
