Chapter 5

ANDREW

The attention in the room was now shifted to the new stranger. No one in the room knew him. He didn't even strike a chord in the heart of anyone that was there.

Even though he was looking rich, there was no way he would be able to compete with someone like Mr. Hills.

Mrs. Hills stepped forward angrily seeing that her process of getting her revenge had been interrupted.

"Who are you and how dare you stop this process?" She thundered.

It suddenly clicked on her that Andrew had brought his cell phone out a while ago and she laughed out loud.

"So this is it? This is the person that thought could stand against my darling husband. You must be the world's biggest joker. He isn't even known by anyone else. You just brought a pathetic loser like yourself! Ttffeww!." she scolded.

Hearing these words almost made the old man flare up. However, he was still able to keep himself together.

How could any of them that were around the place know such a world power like him..If this lady knew that he was the one that had been responsible for putting the Hills family to the map, she would have had her lips zipped up already .

All the properties that were held by the Hills family at the moment were all owned by no other than Andrew and Mr. Hills was nothing more than the caretaker of those properties and he dared to talk trash about such a person? He should be the one that has a death wish.

"I have never seen any lady with such a water tap for a mouth. I thought you were supposed to be from a wealthy family. Did you sell out your composure to get to this height?" He inquired with batted eyes.

Mrs. Hills was about to curse angrily when the old man immediately shut her up.

"Shut up." He rebuked.

If someone else had spoken to her in that tone, she wouldn't have listened. But Patrick's words carried a sort of authority that commanded attention that shut her up abruptly.

He said, "You shouldn't interrupt an elder until they finish speaking." Then, he addressed her earlier question, "You wanted to know who I am, right? Why don't we ask that dog you call your husband?" Patrick pointed at Mr. Hills, showing no fear. The people present were shocked and terrified.

Patrick had just insulted one of the most powerful men in the city! This was a day they would never forget. She was stunned, while Mr. Hills, who was still blind, recognized the voice was familiar, but couldn't see who was speaking.

When Mr. Hills heard himself being called a dog, he was furious and stepped forward, ready to lash out. But when he saw the face of the person in front of him, he froze. It was a face he could never forget - the face of the man who had saved him from poverty seven years ago.

At that time, Mr. Hills was a beggar, roaming the streets like a homeless dog. But this man had approached him with an offer to make him the head of powerful organizations. Mr. Hills had thought it was a lie, but it became a reality. They had signed a contract, but with one condition - Mr. Hills would never make a profit. He would only receive a monthly salary of ten million dollars.

The memories came flooding back, and Mr. Hills' anger turned to shock and disbelief. He couldn't believe that the man who had changed his life was now standing in front of him, calling him a dog. He felt different emotions at once - gratitude, shame, and confusion.

Mr. Hills didn't want to incur the wrath of the man who had given him a lucrative job, even if it meant he didn't profit from it. The monthly salary of ten million dollars was more than enough for him, and it elevated his status to among the top fifty citizens in the city. He had always been grateful to this man and had been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to show him how he had grown and improved the company.

However, instead of receiving praise and recognition, Mr. Hills was met with insults and humiliation. He was called a dog and was being scolded in front of others. He couldn't believe that this was happening, and he couldn't help but wonder if things could get any worse. Little did he know, the worst was yet to come.

As he stood there, frozen in shock and embarrassment, Mr. Hills couldn't help but think about how quickly things had taken a turn for the worse. He had been so eager to please this man, and now he was being treated like a mere servant. He couldn't help but wonder what he had done to deserve such treatment.

Mr. Hills' face was drenched in cold sweat, and his body was tense with anxiety. Despite his efforts to appear calm, his smile was shaky and his tone trembled as he spoke. "Mr. Patrick, you've finally returned," he said with fear and worry.

The room was stunned into silence, with everyone struggling to process the scene unfolding before them. The once-arrogant Mr. Hills, known for his haughty demeanor, was now bowing down before someone. It was a sight that was too much for some to handle, and a few people felt like they were going to faint.

Mrs. Hills was the most shocked of all, her eyes wide with disbelief. She had always thought that her husband was fearless, but now she was witnessing him tremble with fear. She couldn't reconcile the man she thought she knew with the one who was now groveling before Mr. Patrick. Her mind raced with questions, wondering what had happened to her husband's confidence and who this Mr. Patrick was that commanded such respect.

Mrs. Hills was stunned, her mind racing with questions. "What in the world is going on?" she thought to herself. "My husband, a billionaire, bowing down to someone who was summoned by a punk? This is unimaginable!"

Meanwhile, Mr. Patrick's face was filled with disapproval, his frown deepening as he began to speak. "Mr. Hills," he said, his voice boiling with annoyance, "when I chose you, I thought you had potential. But this is what you do? Trample on those beneath you?"

Mr. Hills tried to apologize, but Mr. Patrick cut him off. "Is everyone in your family so uncultured?" he thundered. "I've said it before, and I'll say it again: when your elder is speaking, you keep quiet and listen until they're finished!"

Mr. Hills nodded meekly, like a scolded child, as Mr. Patrick glared at him. The room was silent, with everyone watching the scene unfold in disbelief. Mrs. Hills was still trying to process what she was seeing, her mind reeling with shock and confusion.

Mr. Patri continued after being sure that he had gotten everyone's attention. "And to think that you didn't have to find someone else to bully. It had to be Mr. Andrew's? Have you suddenly gone mad?" he thundered, his voice echoing off the walls.

As he spoke, Mr. Hills' eyes widened in realization. The name "Mr. Andrew" struck a chord in his mind, and he frantically searched his memory. Suddenly, it hit him - Mr. Andrew was the owner of the companies he had been overseeing. His heart racing, he turned to face Andrew, his expression transformed from arrogance to fear and respect.

"So this is the person," he thought to himself, his mind reeling with the implications. "And I... I had bullied him so much? What would become of my life now?" His heart was racing, and his skin was already showing signs of distress, with ripples and a bad rash emerging.

Mr. Hills' eyes locked onto Andrew's, filled with a mix of fear, respect, and a hint of pleading. He seemed to be silently begging for mercy, his proud demeanor shattered by the realization of his mistake. The room was tense, awaiting Andrew's response, as Mr. Hills' world began to crumble around him.

Mr. Hills was at a loss for words, his mind racing with the gravity of his situation. A simple apology seemed inadequate, and he knew he had to take drastic measures to make amends. He took a deep breath and walked towards Andrew and his crying child, his eyes filled with a mix of fear and desperation.

The little boy pleaded for his father's life, begging Andrew to spare him. "Please don't hurt my father. Please don't hurt him. I'll do anything you want," he cried, his small body shaking with fear.

Mr. Hills didn't say a word, his face ashen and his eyes sunken. He looked like a ghost, his pride and arrogance shattered. And then, in a shocking move, he dropped to his knees, bowing his face in shame.

"Please forgive me," he begged, his eyes welling up with tears.

Everyone's jaws dropped in shock!
