Amelia was heartbroken after she heard the conversation between Owen and the lady that he used in achieving his aims. "So it was all a set-up. How I wish I was smart enough to know this?" Amelia told herself feeling very pained. She wished that she had not broken up her relationship with Dub. Dub was loving and caring to her, and now, she felt that he didn't deserve the treatment she gave to him. She broke down in tears when she remembered the way her relationship with Owen started, and how he and his sister deceived her into the relationship. Donald was discharged from the hospital and taken home. His servants knew that he was sick but they never knew what the nature of his sickness was, or what caused it. They only saw an ambulance that came to pick him up on that fateful day. They would have told Sandra that he was taken to the hospital if Mrs Jeff had not cautioned them about it. Amelia arrived at the police station as a suspect. "Young lady, you were arrested for being one of Mr Owen Powell's accomplices. Mr Owen Powell is a dealer of hard and illicit drugs and we've been on the lookout for him and his accomplices." "I don't know what you're talking about. After Amelia was released from police custody, she received a conference call from the Williams and Coxs that same weekend. The two families had been informed about Amelia's arrest and the reason why she was arrested; so they called to show her some love and care. Owen was sentenced to ten years imprisonment by the court. This brought so much sorrow for Linda because their parents were dead and they were just two; herself and Owen.
