After Mr and Mrs Cox's visit to the Williams, Mr William decided that a DNA test be carried out on Dub and Amelia to be sure that Amelia was their real child. Even though his wife didn't deny swapping their real child for another, he still needed to be sure of Amelia's identity.

However, the result of the DNA test confirmed that Amelia was Kevin's real child, while Dub belonged to the Coxs. Now, Dub had no option but to accept his real parents, even though he found it very hard to do.

He was already knitted to the Williams. After all, they were the ones who took care of him from childhood.

Dub's two sisters were also heartbroken when they found out the truth about his identity. They found it difficult to believe at first, but they later believed.

"Dub, you may not be my biological son, but you're still my son," Mr William told Dub, as he drew him close to hug him. Dub and Amelia needed to take some leave from work at different times to be with their new parents.
