THE PACT
Vera's heart skipped a beat as Mr Dallas walked into the room. Memories of her childhood flooded her mind, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and anxiety.

Mr. Dallas chuckled softly. "Ah, the tales of old, I presume. Your parents and I were dear friends." Mr Dallas said, shifting his gaze from Vera to Mr and Mrs Jeff. "This is a daughter of the Smith family - the Smiths I told you about, who are yet to fulfil their obligations."
