TRUST IN DUB

Dub sat at his desk, engrossed in his work when his phone suddenly rang. Startled, he picked it up and saw an unfamiliar number flashing on the screen. Curiosity piqued, he answered the call, unaware that the news he was about to receive would shake him to his core.

"Hello?" Dub spoke, his voice filled with a mix of confusion and anticipation.

A deep, sombre voice echoed through the phone, causing Dub's heart to skip a beat. "Is this Dub?"

Dub's grip tightened on the phone. "Yes, this is Dub. Who is this?"

The stranger took a moment before responding, his voice laced with sympathy. "I'm sorry to inform you, but Mrs William is in the hospital.

She was shot in the leg a few days ago. We saw your contact on her phone labelled 'Dub, my son' and we thought you should be her son. That's why we are contacting you to come over."
