THE SLIPERLY MAN

The night air was harsh and chilly as Jordan and his men stepped out. Jordan's demeanor was determined as he led his crew away from the chaotic scene while navigating through the shadows. His expression stayed unwavering, and the icy determination driving his chase was reflected in his gaze.

Police sirens sounded in the background, getting louder as they got closer to the site. “Jordan? What the heck happened? Why are the police here?” Officer Adamson, after hearing the police sirens, met Jordan at the entrance. He looked worried, just like anyone in his shoes would be. He had summoned all his team and some of Jordan’s men who were outside.

“I will explain later. Right now, we need to get out of here ASAP! They cannot catch us.” Jordan responded in a low-key voice.

Officer Adamson thought for a second. Then, oblivious to his identity being compromised, he spoke. “You guys leave through the back. I will distract them when they get here so that you can escape. But be fast.”
