William drove down the busy street. He had been contemplating the next stage of his revenge plan. Damon had been dealt with but next in line was the wicked witch Sophia. He was still in thought when he glanced something through his rearview mirror. He noticed that some black SUV’s were behind him and had been following him for the last ten minutes. He made two different turns but they made the same turns. The men in the SUV’s worked for Tyson Rex. Damon had ordered Rex to kidnap William and teach him a lesson. William tightened his grip on the steering wheel and stepped on the accelerator quickly speeding up. The cars equally sped up and closed in on him. He realized it would difficult to get out of the situation but he first had to figure out who they were. He took down the front license plate number from one of the cars, and with a quick tap on his smartwatch, he put in a call to Roland. “Check this plate number. [Bryson Hall’s office] Bryson Hall was sipping a glass of whiskey when his phone rang. His brow arched when he saw an unknown number on the screen. “Hello.” His voice rang through. Roland spoke calmly on the other end. “Am I on to Bryson Hall?” “Yes. But who--” “Asher Knight wants to meet you.” Roland said, cutting him off. He quickly sat up straight when he heard Asher Knight’s name. Excitement flickered in his eyes. “Of course. It would be an honor. When?” “Now. I’m sending you the location.” Roland said sharply before ending the call. Bryson checked his phone and the meeting location popped up. However, on seeing the familiar address, his excitement quickly turned into confusion. The location was one of his henchmen’s hideouts. Why would Asher Knight be there? A wicked smile formed on Damon's face. “You've got that piece of scum?” “Yes. He's ready to apologize to you. Come to lot 23, Ridgeburry road.” Rex's voice said over the phone. “Good. I'm on my way.” Damon said before ending the call. About 15 minutes later, Damon arrived at the location. The whole place was extremely quiet as he walked into the building. Getting in, there was someone tied to a chair, his head covered with a black bag. Damon smirked as he walked closer to him. “William! It was a clip of him apologizing at William's feet and calling him master. "Isn't this Damon Grey? Man that's pathetic." There were so many comments ridiculing him. The whole world was laughing at him. Unknown to Damon, There was actually a camera in the room that was recording the whole thing. If his life wasn't over before, he was definitely over now. He was going to be a laughingstock in all of Crenshaw city. At that moment, Scarlett barged into the room fuming. “What is the meaning of this?! “Coffee?” Martha looked up through teary eyes to see William offering her a cup of hot coffee with a warm smile on his face. She furrowed her brows as she wiped off her tears. “Sorry, do I know you?” “No, but I was in the theatre. I watched your audition and you were great” William responded. Her head dropped. “I don't think I'll be getting the role.” “Thank you” she said trying to force a smile as she collected the cup of coffee. “I'm William by the way.” He introduced himself warmly. “Martha.” She responded. William sat beside her on the bench. “You shouldn't feel so down. You're a talented actress. I'm sure more opportunities will come your way.” Martha let out a shaky sigh.“Unfortunately I don't think so. I left my hometown trying to make it as an actress here in the city but I've only been able to land minor roles.” “Maybe I might be able to help.” William said calmly. Martha's head propped up. “How? He was more than delighted when he heard that Asher Knight was going to back his new project and insisted that Martha was to be the lead actress. Michael was the director of the movie Martha got the role for a while ago, However, due to pressure from Grey Industries to back out from investing in their movie, he had no choice but to give the role to Sophia. He had always felt bad about taking that role away from Martha but with Asher Knight backing him, he didn’t have to cower before Sophia anymore. [ 3 years ago, Legolas Army base] The soldiers gathered around for a briefing on their next mission. William was among those chosen for the expedition. It was his first official mission as a member of the Legolas army. General Ryker stood in front of them communicating his orders. “We've been contracted to eliminate a war criminal known as Robinson Tradwell.” Since the Legolas army was a private army, they weren't interested in the details of what their employers wanted as long as they got paid. Ryker pulled up a map on the large screen behind them. “The Intel reaching us is that he and his men are trying to escape and are currently in the Rhunakis desert.” “Remember, this is a clean mission, and there must be no witnesses. We move in and we take out the target. Is that understood?” “Sir, yes sir!” The soldiers roared in unison. The team of six including the general set out in their chopper at night. As they flew nearer to the drop point, William grew increasingly nervous.

They had been working on a highly sophisticated AI mask that made it possible for the wearer to assume any face they wanted. It even had the ability to change the voice of the person who was wearing it. William had been planning to use it for something else, but because of this, he was going to use it early. “So you're going to act as Leblanc?” Roland asked. “Yes. I'm going to trick Sophia into confessing that she was responsible for those images.” William replied.

“I promise I'm going to get to the bottom of this and if it turns out to be Sophia, I'm going to make sure to expose her for everyone to see.” William assured Martha. “Call Roland,” William said, giving an audio command to his phone. The phone rang once before Roland answered. “Hello sir.” “Roland. I need you to analyze the photos of Martha and Michael. Find out who created them.” “Yes sir. I'll get right on it.” Martha glanced at William with uncertainty. “Where are we going?” “I'm talking you to my place. You can lay low there for now, at least until we can take care of this.” Soon they arrived at William's penthouse apartment. He led the way inside, looking around to make sure none of the reporters had followed them. William escorted her into one of the guest rooms. “You can stay here. No one will disturb you. Sophia paced around her room impatiently. She clenched her phone so tightly that her knuckles went white. Media outlets had already published articles about how she admitted that Martha was a better actress than her. A knock sounded on the door. “Come in.” she snapped. A slim man wearing glasses walked into the room hesitantly. “Miss Sophia” he greeted cautiously. “Did you get what I asked?” Sophia demanded. The man nodded. “Yes, but Miss Sophia, are you sure about this? If this goes wrong…” Sophia cut him off. “Listen, your job isn't to question me. You do what I pay you for and shut up.” The man handed a tablet over to her. She smiled wickedly as she scrolled through. “Yes. This is very good.” Sophia picked up her phone and anonymously messaged the top gossip reporters in Crenshaw city. "I have a juicy story for you all. A rising actress who isn’t as innocent as she pretends to be. Interested?" Within seconds, replies flooded in. "Depends on what you have."

The judge hesitated before speaking. “The committee was persuaded to do the right thing.” Sophia raised an eyebrow. “Persuaded? That doesn't answer my question!” William chuckled, shaking his head. "You bribed them. I simply reminded them what would happen if they accepted dirty money." Humiliated, Sophia ran out of the room. Michael was speechless as he watched the scene. He looked at Martha a bit surprised. “Wow… I didn’t see that coming.” Martha shrugged. “She needed someone to teach her a lesson and I'm glad I did." All attempts by Fiona and Sophia to sabotage the move failed. Production was completed and it ended up being a huge blockbuster. It also cemented Martha's place as an A-list actress. Soon it was time for the Emerald Acting Awards, and Sophia saw it as an opportunity to get back at Michael and Martha. The Emerald Awards were the pinnacle of recognition in the film industry. Every year, the best actors and actresses came together waiting to see who would walk away with the prestigious awards. For Sophia, this was going to be her night.
