'I would do the transfer immediately you sign the documents and hand over everything about the company, Mr. Federick. I was hoping you wouldn’t hesitate. You are no coward, or are you?’ I asked, smiling.

He looked at the dirty, gruff man, nodded, and picked up the documents. I was still calculating what he had in mind. Beat us up and force me to do a transfer? That’s pretty much it. Mr. Frederick wasn’t looking like someone who was willing to let go of his company easily.

He dropped off the documents. ‘If you can increase the fee to about ten million dollars, I will let go of the company immediately.’

I picked up my phone to send a text to Uncle Derrick. We had agreed to pay Mr. Federick seven million dollars if he was insistent. Uncle Derrick replied immediately; he disagreed and advised me to stick with the seven million dollars. Federick’s company was in a lot of trouble, and it will cost them a lot to recover from that reputation.
