Aera pulled her dagger out of her sheath at once and slashed through her palm. Aera made quick use of the opportunity to press her palm against Yujin's mouth as soon as she noticed blood beginning to drip across her fingers.

"Drink this, you knucklehead!" Even as she was making Yujin drink her blood, Aera uttered some threatening words toward him.

Yujin immediately started to feel a surging power all over him, and it was all coming from the blood that he was drinking. It was almost as if the blood was some kind of drug. He started savoring the sweet blood that was coming from Aera's palm, and at that precise moment, he grabbed on to Aera's wrist as if he never wanted to let her go, all the while sipping more forcefully against Aera's palm.

At that point, Aera had begun to notice that she was getting weaker with each passing minute as Yujin continued to drink her blood. She was beginning to feel dizzy and drained all of a sudden. On the other hand, Aera was adamant that Yujin should r

"So, when do you even plan to speak up about what happened at the crystal fortress, miss Aera?" When Draken had finished placing the cup of tea in front of Aera, he asked her question as quickly as possible. The two of them, along with Robalt and Mando who were quietly seated at the adjacent side of the long table inside the meeting hall, were in the middle of discussing the incident that took place inside the crystal fortress. Robalt and Mando were seated at the opposite end of the table. However, it appears that Draken has been asking Aera the same question over and over again, and despite this, Aera continues to refuse to give Draken the answer he is looking for. Because of what Aera did to try to save Yujin from whatever it was that had taken over his body, Draken has a strong desire to question Aera. This desire stems from the time when Aera attempted to save Yujin. Draken has been fascinated by the incident's explanation ever since Robalt told him about it, and this fascination

As soon as the meeting ended, Draken led Aera and the rest of the crew outside the medical bay where Yujin was being kept in a large capsule designed to monitor his vitals while also compressing him to prevent him from wreaking havoc.Yujin was being administered some kind of compressant drug by the medical team of the stray dogs. The purpose of the drug was to reduce the number of foreign cells in his body, which in turn stimulates him to transform into his beastly form."To begin, would you share with me what exactly was going on with Yujin? What was up with his strange transformation?” Right away, Draken inquired about it.Even though Aera had every intention of not answering Draken's questions, she was well aware that she needed to uphold her end of the bargain. In order for Yujin to be freed from the capsule, she must demonstrate to the strays that she is able to work well with them.Aera was compelled to do so, knowing that Yujin’s life would be at stake. She made the decision t

During the ensuing few moments, Aera did nothing but look at Draken. It was as if he had posed a tricky question to her, like there was some kind of test he wanted her to take. The expression of indifference that Aera projected through her eyes made it difficult for Draken to deduce what might be going on in her head at that precise moment. It was not even a long time before Aera finally answered, "I have no other choice but to save him. Because as soon as Yujin passes away, so do we all after that."“You make it sound as if we have a traumatic future in store for us should that kid's death actually occur.” Draken maid it sound a little sarcastic in response to what Aera just said. And after Aera so quickly responded to him with, "Oh, but it is," Draken's eyes widened a little bit more. “What, do not you know?” Aera even added.Draken entertained the possibility that Aera was exaggerating the situation in her description. Despite the fact that he was not able to be absolutely certain.

It has been several days since Yujin was moved from inside the capsule to an isolated room, where his body appeared to be recovering fairly well.Aera continued to pay occasional visits to Yujin in the continued hope that he would eventually recover consciousness. Even though there was no romantic connection between Aera and Yujin, everyone working at the headquarters for stray dogs was green with envy over the fact that Yujin was able to count on such a conscientious woman as Aera to look after him on a daily basis.Even though they did not know each other, Aera continued to offer her assistance in Yujin's care on a nearly daily basis despite the fact that they were not acquainted. While this was going on, in the lounge area of the headquarters, Robalt unexpectedly disrupted Mando's lunch while he was sitting next to him while carrying a tray that contained his own lunch meal. "Is this spot available for me to sit?" Robalt asked."I do not own it, mate, you are free to use it." Mand

[After a total of three days. Within the confines of Yujin's personal isolation chamber]"For how much longer do you intend to stand there?" Aera only caught a fleeting glimpse of Draken as he approached from behind her.Draken was quite surprised that Aera was still able to spot him despite the fact that he had made a concerted effort to remain unnoticed. He gave her a sly grin because he was impressed by how perceptive she was. However, in the end, he was forced to admit that he was unable to sneak into her and keep a close watch on her while he was attending to Yujin."I made an effort to enter the room with as little noise as possible. You seemed to have a good sense of observation, which is something that really impressed me. As soon as Draken stepped foot inside, he immediately paid her a compliment. He hurriedly moved to the empty chair on the opposite side of the room, directly across from where Aera was seated, and as soon as he was seated, he turned his attention to Yujin. "Can you be more specific about what you mean when you say that only the two of them were capable of repairing the pillar?" The question was asked in a prompt manner by Draken. It dawned on him all of a sudden that he had no idea why Aera had been so adamant about denying the possibility that even his technical staff had the ability to repair the damaged pillar. At first, Aera was rendered speechless due to the situation. It seemed as though she was hesitating to respond to Draken. On the other hand, she was completely conscious of the fact that it was not something that she could even keep from telling Draken in the end. At the bare minimum, she would be required to give him the complete rundown on everything that she knows."Aera, I asked what you mean when you said that it was only they who were capable of fixing the pillar. I was curious because you said that they were the only ones. What is the deal with fingerprints? Would it be possible to get rid of the fingerprint so that ot

It took both Aera and Draken a little while before the two of them managed to get inside the isolated room where Yujin’s mother, Dr. Karin, was being detained. They were within a reasonable distance of the entrance when all of a sudden, Aera halted for a brief moment to take a breather.“What’s the matter, Aera?” Draken abruptly asked. In addition to this, he was a little perplexed as to what might have transpired that rendered Aera incapable of moving forward once more. Draken had the sudden thought that Aera might be getting a case of the jitters now that she was so much closer to seeing Yujin's mother right behind the door that she was currently facing. It would be such a waste of time if Aera chose not to proceed with the case and instead decided to just reach a settlement without confronting Dr. Karin. Draken reasoned that it was impossible for him to finish the job knowing that Aera was the one with the most knowledge about the pillar because of how she had previously worked wi

"Yes, you did hear me correctly." Dr. Karin gave herself the all-clear. Aera was already startled, but the manner in which Dr. Karin approached her made her even more startled because it appeared that she was unprepared for the situation once again. When Aera finally turn around to look at her, Dr. Karin was already looking in her direction. The page that Dr. Karin had been reading had been turned, and the book that she had been reading had been placed on top of her lap. She never did anything more than look in Aera's direction the whole time, but this made things even more difficult for Aera because she was aware that as a result of this, she would have even more reason to be afraid of approaching Dr. Karin."Are you going to do nothing but stare at me while you are over there? I am sorry, but I just do not have the time for this." Dr. Karin spoke up immediately because she could no longer take engaging in a simple game of staring contest with Aera. They had been doing nothing but s

The air around her seemed to still, as if time itself had frozen in that very moment. How could this be? How could reality twist and contort in such a way? Aera's mind raced, desperately searching for a logical explanation, but finding none. The world she thought she knew was slipping away, replaced by a surreal landscape of uncertainty and disbelief. Anticipation coursed through her veins as she yearned for the moment when Doctor Karin would, perhaps, alter her stance and align herself with her fervent desire to fix the broken pillar. Doctor Karin's inquiry ignited a flicker of hope within Aera. "Yes," Aera murmured, her voice barely audible. “Yes, it is," she added, her voice tinged with a hint of hope. The worn wooden door groaned in protest as it swung open, granting passage to Aera. She stepped into the dimly lit room, her presence casting a shadow across the worn floorboards. Doctor Karin awaited her arrival. As Aera stepped into the room, a sense of déjà vu washed over her. There, in the same spot as before, sat Doctor Karin, engrossed in a stack of books generously supplied by the stray dog headquarters.Aera pondered, her mind swirling with the possibility that it was Draken who had proposed the notion of stowing away those books within the confines of Doctor Karin's chamber. The suggestion was undeniably astute, for within the confines of that room, where Doctor Karin languished in detention, she managed to carve out precious moments to peruse those written works on a daily basis.Aera stood there, her eyes fixed on Doctor Karin, a mixture of displeasure evident on her face."It's you again," Doctor Karin, however, said, her voice tinged with a disappointment at the presenc

Aera's senses returned to her, and she mustered the courage to finally ask the question that had been lingering in her mind. Her cheeks were still tinged with a rosy hue, a telltale sign of the lingering embarrassment she felt. The memory of that impulsive kiss she had shared with Yujin played on a loop in her mind, causing her heart to flutter and her thoughts to scatter. How had she allowed herself to succumb to such a reflexive act? It was as if her body had acted independently, driven by an unseen force that she couldn't quite comprehend. Aera was still processing the evaluation that Draken had provided her with earlier in the conversation. In the isolation chamber, she was the only other person there except Yujin. Her head was cluttered with unrelated ideas at the time, and almost all of them were related to Yujin. After considering all that Draken had shared with her, Aera couldn't help but feel a twinge of embarrassment when she realized that she had just recently begun to consider the possibility that Draken's explanation was accurate. It's possible that what Dr. Karin saw in Aera was the possibility of a love connection between her and Yujin. This possibility is what drives Aera to put her pride in danger in order to assist Yujin.Aera thought that this must be what Dr. Karin was thinking about her as a driving motive for assisting Yujin. After all, individuals who are in love are known to do the most unselfish things conceivable, and Aera believed that this must be what Dr. Karin was thinking about her. When Aera
