Chapter 256

An elderly, stout man approached Andrew. He was a taxi driver who had been observing Andrew sitting on a bench in front of the airport since late afternoon.

"Hey, sir, where are you headed? It's getting late, you've been sitting here for over eight hours. You haven't eaten or drunk anything," he said with a friendly tone.

Andrew raised his head and looked at the green-eyed old man cynically. "It's none of your business, old man. I want to sit here until morning, and it doesn't concern you. Go find other passengers and don't bother me."

Andrew's hands remained busy with his phone, persistently trying to call his beloved, Ivanka, even though all his calls were declined.

"Well, I apologize if I've been bothering you. I just wanted to help. The last time there was a depressed man continuously sitting alone in this airport for a few days, it ended tragically. He overdosed, and I don't want the same to happen to you, Young Man."
