Chapter 64

The army-colored off-road vehicle carrying Andrew and Felix attracted attention as it entered the gold mine area. Five sturdy men with long rifles hanging from their chests immediately stood alert in front of the gate.

"I'll get out," Felix said.

He adjusted his collar and stepped out of the vehicle. Doubt and fear crept into his heart. Although he had often participated in massacres with William's group before, Felix couldn't be considered as brave as William when facing opponents. Felix's courage was only for stepping on those he considered beneath him, like Andrew when he first saw him.

"Who are you, and what do you want?" one bearded man pointed his long rifle at Felix's chest.

"I'm Felix, the owner of this mine. I want to meet your boss, John."

Simultaneously, all the guards in front of Felix burst into laughter. "What did you say? The owner of this mine? You must be dreaming. I'm sure Mr. John will finish you off."
