William and John's footsteps synchronized as they entered a luxurious room in one of the offices in the small town they were visiting. A wide smile appeared on William's face as the door opened and a stout middle-aged man with graying hair looked at them in surprise.

"John, and who is this you've brought?" the man asked.

The room, guarded by five bodyguards, immediately went on high alert. Each of the guards positioned their hands near their weapons. William looked at the guards with a satisfied gaze. In his eyes, this was promising.

"Um..."

"Let me introduce myself." William interrupted John, who was about to speak. "I'm William, the leader of the strongest group, a respected businessman, and the most feared person on the continent. I'm here as the new owner of the gold mining company that you recently took from my late friend, Felix."

Instantly, the expression on the man's face changed drastically. He pushed his desk and said, "Don't play games with me! What do you mean?"
