THE SECRET TO MY HAREM EMPIRE SYSTEM

CHAPTER 6

 

Daemon effortlessly continued to charm the random woman with his smooth words and charismatic demeanor. It took him a while to grasp the concept, but eventually he grew comfortable with it, as if it were second nature.

 

“Your name?” Daemon inquired, his curiosity piqued as he yearned to shed the veil of unfamiliarity that shrouded their encounter.

 

"Mikaella," the girl replied with her enchanting voice.

 

"Lovely," Daemon could not help but admire her exquisite presence. 

 

Her beauty captivated him, yet he could not help but wonder if she would leave a lasting impression on his heart. Daemon would only recall her name if there was something truly memorable about it. Nevertheless, he would rather not bother with remembering names.

 

“Do you come here often, Mikaella?” Daemon finally mustered the courage to initiate a conversation with them.

 

Mikaella responded to Daemon with a gentle smile, her voice filled with a touch of mystery. "I was simply running an errand today," she said softly. “And then I saw you.”

 

Daemon who thinks of this system mission as some sort of dating sim game wherein he must choose on his own what step he should take in order to make the woman eventually fall for him.

 

And at that particular moment, Daemon then responded, “You saw me? Nope. that’s not how it goes.” Daemon smiled mischievously, causing Mikaella to feel a rush of warmth spreading across her cheeks.

 

“Why? Why don’t you think so?” Mikaella eventually inquired, her smile and excitement still radiating from her.

 

It was at that point that Daemon actually felt like it was time for him to actually use this as a perfect timing to unleash his pick up line on Mikaella. 

 

As Daemon approached, a sense of unfamiliarity washed over him. With a gentle touch, he lifted Mikaella's chin and spoke softly, "You know, I was the one who first laid eyes on you."

 

"Oh, I think I was the first one who saw you first and manages to make the first move." Mikaella playfully objected, her voice tinged with thrill.

 

Daemon could not help but let out a soft chuckle as he gently let go of Mikaella's chin. "What can I possibly do? Rather than risk making you angry with me, Mikaella, it appears I would rather you win this argument. But if that made me sound rude, let me redeem myself by making the first move to ask you to grab some dinner.” 

 

Mikaella was surprised, she didn’t expect that Daemon would boldly asked her out for dinner so quickly. 

 

She knew had to say yes, believe that moments like this doesn’t come too often. “Of course, I’d love to.” she answered.

 

Unbeknownst to her, as she was experiencing the flutter of romance through the feeling of butterflies in her stomach, Daemon, on the other hand,  was silently celebrating a significant influx of money into his account once again.

Aamon kept the holographic screen in view at all times, solely for the purpose of tracking the arrival of rewards in his account. Daemon was resolute in his determination to carry out his main mission after successfully fulfilling this special task entrusted to him in order to gain more money.

Daemon, ever the romantic, whisked Mikaella away to a charming restaurant just a stone's throw from the hairstudio. There, he indulged her with a delightful dinner, making her feel cherished and adored. 

Mikaella was captivated by the enchanting atmosphere of the restaurant, unable to resist expressing her gratitude, "I have never experienced such a place before. I am truly grateful that you brought me here."

“Only the best for the best girl I’ve seen.” Daemon has done it once more. The flirty banter between Mikaella and Daemon persisted throughout their meal at the restaurant. 

It wasn’t until Mikaella eventually asked that seemed to bother Daemon, particularly when she asked, “How were you able to book this place so quickly? Even the businessmen in town I know, would need to book this ahead just to get in. And yet, you swiftly came inside like it was just easy.”

Daemon actually haven’t prepared something to cover him up for this. He just used the reservation that the system had arrange for them. And it was difficult for Daemon to come up with a good lie to convince Mikaella.

“Uh, actually, the owner of the restaurant happened to be acquaintance with my dad. Although he knew that lying was terrible thing to do with an innocent-looking girl like Mikaella, Daemon knew that it was the only way he could actually accomplish this special mission.

“Ah I see. No wonder you were able to come rather quickly.” Mikaella eventually replied back. The look on her face best describe how much she was enjoying the company of Daemon and the fancy dinner that Daemon had treated for her.

Following their fancy dinner, Daemon finally escorted Mikaella outside, “Where do you live, Mikaella. Mind if I drop you there?” Daemon abruptly asked as he volunteered to take Mikaella to her home.

The real truth about Daemon’s voluntary work was so that he could buy himself more time with Mikaella for te kiss that would complete the special mission.

However, Mikaella firmly rejects Daemon’s offer and instead, she replied, “there’s no need to take me home. I live nearby. What just concerns me is when I could see you again.” 

“How about I’ll ask you again if you can give me a kiss as a reward?” Daemon only bet on his luck that Mikaella would somehow grant him his request.

What Daemon didn’t know was that Mikaella would eventually be game for it. Mikaella startled Daemon when she took the initiative to step forward and grab Daemon by the neck to quikly kiss him. 

It was their kiss that sealed the end of the system’s special mission for Daemon. And Daemon once more saw the reward credited to his account.

Daemon witnessed on his holographic screen that not only the money rewards was the one that had been credited to Daemon, but also and additional points for his skills. Daemon was thrilled knowing that he could very well used that skill enhancement for his future plans to capture more women.

Soon as the kiss ended, Mikaella went home first, leaving Daemon with a cheerful face as he gently wave goodbye to Mikaella. Daemon, who was smiling cheerfully a little while ago eventually became serious once more.

And as he was about to head and grab a taxi home, he abruptly bumps into his college professor,  Delhia. She has come to talk to him about his sudden absence during their exam. It was only then that Daemon realize that he indeed forget about that. 

“Mr. Daemon Quenery, perfect timing that I saw you here. We can’t believe you missed the semi-final exams. We’ve tried to reach to your phone number in order to communicate with you to hear your side why did you not take the exams but since you didn’t answer our calls or butter showing up, we have concluded to fail you from our subjects.”

Daemon clearly forgot all about the exams today due to his mission. He was respond something to his professor when all of a sudden, something pop up from the holographic screen. 

Even Daemon was utterly surprised with what the system wanted now, particularly when it indicated,

Seizing the opportunity, Daemon grabs Monica’s hand in a show of panic about the failure news. However, she slaps him for misbehaving.

As soon as Daemon hugged her, the system verifies that you crediting him the $100,000 reward and additional skill point. Realizing the tremendous potential of his newly acquired system abilities, Daemon was thrilled by the system's validation and promptly checked his bank account to verify the reward.

What Daemon didn’t expect was Monica slapping him real fast for hugging him all of a sudden, thinking it was some sort of harassment.
