Antonio nodded. The mayor’s words angered him, but he refrained from showing them.

“You are right, mayor, so what we need is to tighten the security measures in Slovenia.”

“And with you on the team, I am sure the country is just fine,” the mayor said before he stood up.

“Let’s have dinner, Enzo.”

They all sat at the dining table and ate silently. Amelia took off her shoes and rubbed Anthonio’s legs below the table. “How was Enzo in love with such a whore?” he cursed inwardly and smiled at her.

Then his phone signaled a new message, and he checked the message, ignoring the fact that the mayor was at the same table as him.

[Are you also going to hold my car captive?]

It was a message from Suzy; he sighed and realized that everyone was staring at him. "So, sir, I heard the elections are closing by,” he changed the topic.

“Yes, and I am counting on your vote.”

“Of course, who else could be a better mayor apart from you?” He chuckled, but the mayor shook his head in denial.
