Back in court, the courtroom was filled with military men as they all came to watch the case of one of theirs.

Aunt Jackie and the others didn't show up; instead, they stayed in church to pray for Enzo’s freedom. They even had to fast for 72 hours.

The room fell silent as the bailiff called out, "All rise! The Honorable Judge Johnson is presiding." Such cases used to be handled by Judge Walle, but he was murdered by the shadow, who is believed to be Enzo.

Everyone in the courtroom stood as Judge Johnson entered, his black robe flowing behind him. He settled in his chair, his gaze steady and authoritative.

"Please be seated," the judge commanded, and the room obeyed.

Enzo stared at Lieutenant Gilbert, who nodded in encouragement. His heart hurt for the man he considered a son.
