CHAPTER FIFTEEN

The steam heat from the shower and droplets of water trickled down the coverage see-through glass of the bathroom door where Damien was having his bath slid open with him walking out with a towel tied around his torso.

The shower had felt good on his body as he felt a lot better.

The wounds and bruises were almost gone, only a few tiny little scars. At first, he was scared that the scars would never go away.

Mrs. Silverio had assured him it would fade away when she had come into his room last night and had spoken to him.

“But for it to completely heal, you will need to apply some ointments which I will provide for you,” She had supplied him with almost all the healing herbs she owned. Which made him wonder if she knew he was going to come running back to them.

“Stop thinking about all these Damien and focus on the plan”. He muttered to himself and went on to apply the ointments and other items, to get himself ready for the day.
