"you're all bigger now", Laurel exclaimed.

"Don't be overly dramatic", Felix rolled his eyes.

"Not bad", he smiled.

They had gotten laurel a new home and she had taken over the hotel as Felix wished.

"I might give you a feast like your parents, but I prepared something", laurel smiled.

"I've missed your cooking", he smiled as she showed him his room. He freshened up from his journey and was changed into simpler clothes before joining his aunt at the table.

"How did you internship go?" She asked.

Felix nodded, his mouth stuffed with food.

"It's really nice what mom and dad had built together", he answered, "how's the hotel?" He asked.

"I'm doing my best", she smiled.

They both ate in silence until they were done.

"Thanks aunt".

"Anytime", she smiled and stood to clear the plates, Felix joined her.

"Aunt Laurel", he called her attention, "you'd never hide anything from me right?" He asked.

"Sure. What's this about?"

"It's about my childhood. What was it like?"
