70. THE NEXT GODDESS OF NATURE

Arthur distanced himself from the six-armed man and landed 25 feet away from him. His eyes glared daggers at the man who was in the way of his ambition, his retribution. Everyone in the mountain had to incur his wrath.

“Get out of my way!” Arthur said in a low tone; a feral growl escaping his lips.

Rakshesha just laughed. The boy had a spirit of a tiger but like everyone including the gods, they all allowed their emotions to dictate their actions. There was no room for grief in this world, he as a Rakshesha knew that better than anyone.

Excommunicated for things out of his bounds as a youngling, forced to watch as his race turned on one another at the behest of the great god. He knew that emotions on the battlefield were weapons of self-destruction.

Also, his ties to Grandline made him forever loyal to her.

She saved him when he was being prosecuted.

She gave him a home and showed him love, that was why he did not want to let Arthur proceed any further.
