She is pressing her phone so all her attention is on what she is doing. A few minutes later, she stands up from the couch, picks up her bag and leaves the sitting room. When she gets inside the bedroom, she changes her clothes and sleeps. At exactly 10:08 AM, she wakes up from her sleep. She picks up her phone and discovers that that she has missed calls from Silas. Silas had called her three times while she was sleeping. She quickly dials Silas' number. It goes through, but Silas is not picking up the call. She tries again, but it is still the same. She clutches the phone, wears her slippers and leaves the bedroom. When she gets to the sitting room, she sits down on the couch. She is pressing her phone when the it rings. She drops the bag on the table. “Your father asked me to give you this,” Mrs. Alex said. “What is inside there?” Silas said. “I don’t know. He said the gift is for the unborn child. Silas keeps eating his food. He is enjoying the heap of rice placed in front of him. It is fried rice which makes him to be happy.
