It is some minutes past 9. Margaret walks into the sitting room and sees Mrs. Cora. She wonders where the children can be. All she know is that the children are still in the house.

“How about the children, mum?” Margaret said.

“They are inside the bedroom.”

“Alright, mum. Has dad returned home?”

“No. He should be home before 10 AM. Do you want to wait for him?”

“No.”

“It’s alright. Have you finished cooking?”

“Yes. It’s inside the kitchen,” Margaret said, sitting down on the couch.

“Go and serve the table so that we can eat together.

“Alright, mum. I shall be back in a couple of minutes.”

Margaret stands up from the couch and leaves the sitting room. She ensures that she sets the table before she leaves the dining room.

She enters the sitting room and sees Mrs. Cora discussing with the children.

“We need to and eat now children so that we can get home on time.”

“Alright, mum,” Owen said.
