THE BAD NEWS

The door goes open and Rose enters into the office. She is holding her phone with her right hand. She is dressed in a brown short-sleeved shirt and brown jean trousers. Her shoes are black and they are high-heeled.

“Why did you call me on the phone, Rachael?” Rose said, standing right in front of Rachael.

“Just have your seat.”

Rose stood still for two minutes. She was gazing at Rachael’s face. She could see sadness written on Rachael’s face.

“What happened, Rose? You look so sad,” Rose said, sitting on the chair.

“My mother-in-law just called me not quite long ago...”

“Did she say anything bad?”

“She asked me if I had received any calls from Silas. She heard her say she was going to the hospital before the network cut the call.”

“Hospital?” Rose said with bewilderment.

“Yeah. I have been trying Silas’ phone number but it is not going through.”

“What do we do now?”

“I don’t know,” Rachael said, using his right hand to his lef
