THE STUPENDOUS MAN THE LAWYER IS DEAD
❌ Do not copy or share on any platform ❌ It is a bright Wednesday morning. The morning breeze blows in different directions. This breeze makes everywhere cold. In this cold, Amir walks out of his house. He enters his car and drives it away gently. As Amir drives down the street, thoughts are running through his mind. When one looks at Amir's face, one will know that he is worried because sadness is written all over his face. When Amir reaches Malam Yusuf’s house, he alights from the car and walks in the direction of the door. Standing close to the door, Amir knocks on the door gently. She knocks on the door three times, but nobody answers Amir. Amir mutters some words and presses the buzzer. Someone can hear the buzzing sound of the buzzer from the sitting room and the door goes open. “Good morning, mum,” Amir said. “Good morning, Amir. Do come in,” Mrs. Cora said with gesture. When mother and son get to the couches, they sit down on the same couch and begin to talk.

❌ Do not copy or share on any platform ❌ Sadie enters her shop. She checks the time and she sees that the time is 3:02 PM. She sits down on the chair and begins to empty the table. She says some words to herself as she does this. As soon as Sadie finishes emptying the table, she picks up her bag. Standing up from the chair, Sadie says, “That’s why I always love to be self-employed. You can come to your workplace whenever you like and leave for home whenever you like. I am so sorry for those who are employed by those wicked employers.” As soon as Sadie finishes saying this, she walks out of the shop, clutching her bag. When she gets outside, the sun is already starting to set and it is as if it is about to rain anytime soon. Sadie enters her car. She clutches the steering wheel and drives the car away. Amir looks at Sadie and refuses to utter any words. He wonders what she will do next. Five minutes later, Sadie walks into the sitting room, clutching a bag. As soon as Amir sights the bag, he wonders what can be inside the bag. “Someone gave me this today,” Sadie said. “And who could that be?” “It’s one of my clients. He came to thank me for helping him overcome his depression.” “Well, it is the result of hard work. What is inside the bag?” Looking inside the bag, Sadie says, “It is a wrapped present. What can this be?” Sadie removes the wrapped present from the bag. She drops the bag on the table and moves in the direction of Amir. Sitting beside Amir on the couch, Sadie unwraps the present. She was surprised to see a box. “What is inside the box?” Amir said.

She stands up from the couch and leaves the sitting room. Rose returns to the sitting room, clutching a tray. She drops the tray on the table. She pours a soft drink inside the cup and gives it to Delvin. Delvin collects the cup gently from Rose and thanks her. “You are welcome,” Rose said, exposing her set of teeth. Delvin sips the drink gently. He loves the coldness that the drink gives to his throat. He looks at Rose intermittently as if he wants to say something, but he keeps mute. Rose was looking at Delvin and waiting for him to finish sipping the drink. She is still very happy that Delvin visited her unannounced. Her husband had told her that he was going to go and pick up Silas from home. Mrs. Alex stands up from the couch and moves in the direction of the window. She looks through the window and she can see a red car rightly parked close to the house. Mr. Alex is the first to alight from the car, followed by Silas. She is dressed in a brown short-sleeved shirt and brown jean trousers. Her shoes are black and they are high-heeled. “Why did you call me on the phone, Rachael?” Rose said, standing right in front of Rachael. “Just have your seat.” Rose stood still for two minutes. She was gazing at Rachael’s face. She could see sadness written on Rachael’s face. “What happened, Rose? She stands right in front of Amir and says, “You are ready for work already, I guess.” “Yeah.
