The family had relocated to South Dakota where Ava’s parents stayed to celebrate the birthday. The birthday party was held in a big hall and it was graced by men of high caliber. A young man stood up. He is dressed in a green suit, a green hat and a pair of white shoes. He removes his eyeglasses gently and leads the opening prayer. The other staff respond with Amen as the man prays.“In Jesus’ name we’ve prayed,” the man said and sat down. He is sitting in between two beautiful ladies. The vice Chancellor stands up and says, “Thank you for that wonderful prayer, Professor Donald. A round of applause for him.” Professor Donald is a senior lecturer with the medicine and surgery department of the university. He is thirty years old. Since he was born with a silver spoon, he obtained his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees at a very young age. He is clutching a bag with his right hand and a ball with his other hand. He sits on the couch and begins to rest. He had gone out in the afternoon to play football on a field. His team had beaten their opponent and he was very happy. They had fixed another match for this week on Friday. Silas could perceive the odor emanating from his body. He sweated a lot when playing the ball on the field. He fell down several times too, but he never sustained injuries because of the carpet grass. Silas stands up gently and walks in the direction of the bathroom. He takes his bath and moves out of the bathroom, tying a purple towel round his waist. When he gets to the bedroom, he applies lotion and cream on his soft and fresh skin. He removes a shirt and shorts from the wardrobe. He got the wardrobe before he got married, so the wardrobe looks very old.

Rachael negotiates a price with the driver and enters the bus. The driver starts the bus and drives the bus away at a low speed. At exactly 6:40 am, the bus parks in front of Rays Intercontinental Restaurant. Rachael pays the driver. She clutches her handbag and alights from the bus. She walked slowly in the direction of the door. When Rachael gets inside the restaurant, she sees people already sitting. She greets one or two people and sits down. A short and beautiful lady walks in the direction of Rachael, she is clutching a white paper. “Good morning, madam. Here is the menu,” the lady said, and handed over the paper to Rachael. Clutching and glancing through the paper, Rachael says, “Just give me bread, tea and eggs.”“Alright, madam.” The lady collects the paper from Rachael and walks away. She returns, clutc

His body is swollen as a result of the blows he has received.“And is that a way of greeting?” corporal Ben said.“Just leave her alone. She is a fool,” Malam Yusuf said, angrily.“I am sorry, corporal. Good morning.”“You should learn some office etiquette. Now have your seat.”“Thank you, sir,” Rachael said. She sits down, gazing at Silas who is standing behind Malam Yusuf.“Where is the money you took from my room?”“The money?” “Corporal Ben, what’s going on here?”“He asked you a question. Answer him first.”“But I don’t know what he is talking about.”“Really?” “Where did you see the money you gave to Silas to go and buy a car?” The words of corporal Ben dropped on Rachael like a bombshell. She wishes the floor could open and swallow her up. “I collected a loan from a cooperative society.

Mum got married to the only man who loved the daughter of a pauper. Dad showed love and affection to Mum. Despite the fact that he wasn’t rich, he tried to give mum the best. One day, mum walked into the sitting room. She saw dad in a very bad state. Dad had told mum the previous day that he had lost his best friend to the cold hand of death. He is dressed in a green long-sleeved shirt, blue jean trousers, a green cap and a pair of brown shoes. Mrs. Alex, on the other hand, is dressed in a pink gown and a pair of sleepers. She has no plans for going out. She was reading through a magazine before Mr. Alex walks into the sitting room. It is a fashion magazine that glances at the dressings of models. She loves the dressing of a model and plans to dress like her one of these days. Despite her age, Mrs. Alex dresses like a young lady. She loves to wear a shirt and trousers and a pair of eyeglasses. Mr. Alex must have married this fashionista because of fashion and beauty.“Alright,” Mrs. Alex said, raising her head up.“I can see you are glancing through a magazine again. What fashion do you have for me?”“Just don’t worry. I am waiting for your birthday, so that I can display my new fashion.”
