Richard, Gabriel and the other guy— who’s name was Jonah, all shared a confused look. They couldn’t understand General Aiden’s resolve. They understood the first half of it though— which was the part where he said he wouldn’t rest until he found the killers of his parents and took revenge, the part they didn’t understand was the one about finding his savior and rewarding her with money. Richard felt it was unnecessary, and he furrowed his brows in confusion.

“But General, I don’t think it’s necessary to look for the lady and moreso, give her so much money. Besides we might never find her.” Richard tried to reason. The idea of the monetary reward didn’t appeal to him— Richard Grahams was keen about the Blue Diamond’s Society’s funds and how they were dispensed, he didn’t what indiscriminate spending just as Aiden’s cousin had done. He found Aiden’s decision unnecessary and tried to talk him out of it, hoping he’d succumb.
