“Daddy! Daddy! Wake up.” That was what jolted Aiden out of his deep sleep the next morning. His eyes gradually opened and the blurry morning vision cleared and he saw crisply, Hope hovering over him with a broad smile on her face.

It was contagious of course and Aiden found himself smiling too, “Good Morning baby.” He greeted her, lifting her and placing her on the other side of the bed and she giggled.

“Morning daddy.” She grinned now. Her smiles looked more better now, and it’s not even up to twenty–four hours of their upliftment. Also, something else was different about her smile— and it wasn’t the piece of spinach stuck between her teeth which clearly showed she hadn’t brushed her teeth last night— rather, she had lost a tooth.

“Oh? Did you loose a tooth, Hope?” Aiden asked obliviously.

Her grin spread, “Yes daddy. I gave it to the tooth fairy.” Aiden fake gasped in awe. “And she’s going to give me a big present tomorrow, just like she always does.’’ Hope excitedly said and a
