Kierra's eyes widened. "A date?" she questioned, momentarily forgetting the performance.

Aiden's grin widened as he nodded, his eyes locked onto hers. "Yeah, I've been thinking about it. I really want to take you on a date."

Her cheeks flushed with a subtle blush as a genuine smile graced her lips. "That's sweet, Aiden, but my boss will get mad if I leave early."

Aiden's expression shifted, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Don't worry about your boss. I'll take care of it," he reassured, a subtle scoff accompanying his words.

She chuckled nervously, "I appreciate the offer, but it's not that simple. My boss doesn't just let people leave early."

Aiden, undeterred, offered a more convincing suggestion. "Tell you what, I'll make it worth your boss's while. I'll pay off any inconvenience caused. Consider it an early evening for a good cause."

Her eyebrows arched, "You'd do that?"
