Donovan felt dizzy upon hearing such an amount. He felt like this had to be some sort of dream, and if it was, then he hell damn never wanted to wake up from it. As they walked up to the enormous estate, Dominic couldn't believe his eyes.

The villa was like a palace, with tall pillars at the entrance and a grand staircase leading up to massive doors. There were a lot of maids and servants moving about and doing their jobs. They would all stop and greet both him and Richard as they passed by them. "Is this really mine?" Dominic asked in disbelief.

Richard nodded, "Yes, Young Master Dominic, this is all yours now. Your dad's legacy."

They walked through the house, and Dominic saw luxurious rooms filled with expensive furniture and artwork. Richard showed him the garage next, which housed a collection of sleek sports cars and luxury vehicles. Dominic's eyes widened as he took in the sight of the powerful machines.

"These cars... they're all mine?" Dominic stammered, still trying to process everything.

Richard chuckled, "Yes, Mr. Donovan had quite the taste in cars. These are all yours now, Young Master Dominic."

"All mine....." Dominic was obviously finding it all hard to process, but Richard didn't mind and kept reassuring him. "Yes, Young Master Dominic. All of these were your fathers, and now, they are yours; as soon as you sign the documents and finish up the other paper works." Richard reminded with a satisfied smile. Dominic was still star-struck.

'Should i believe this? Should i really take this? Is this real life?!'

These questions resounded in his head for what felt like hours as he stared at the cars and villa in front of him. "All of these.......... are mine." he whispered under his breath.

Just then, Dominic's phone rang, interrupting his thoughts. He pulled his phone out of his pants to find that it was the nurse put in charge of his mom that had been calling him. He hurriedly accepted the call and spoke. "Hello. Is everything okay." he said worriedly. His heart sank as he heard the nurse's stern voice over the phone.

"Hey, you garbage boy, your mother's bill needs to be paid immediately. If you don't find a way to offset your bills, then we'll have to move her out of that room and replace her with someone else. "

Dominic's mind raced upon hearing this."No, no, please don't..... don't make my mom leave that room, okay? Just give me a few minutes, I'm on my way to pay the bill right now." he assured the nurse, but she just laughed mockingly at him over the phone before hanging up.

How was he supposed to arrange for the money now? and in such a short time.

Dominic bit his lower lip to push down his embarrassment. He turned to find in the hospital. She was diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy for over 2 weeks now, and I need to pay her bill so she can begin treatment. The lady on the phone now was the nurse, she wants to take my mom out of the room and replace her."

Richard's expression turned serious. "Don't worry, Young Master Dominic. It'll be taken care of." And with that, Richard clapped twice, and one of the men approached them with what seemed like a checkbook. " You can write a check for any amount, and the bank will cover it."

Dominic's eyes widened in disbelief. "Really? But how is that possible? I haven't signed anything yet." Dominic reminded him.

Richard smiled. "Your father's empire is vast, Young Master Dominic, and you are his son. All that is his has always been yours. Trust me, the money is there. Just write the check."

Dominic hesitated, but Richard's confidence reassured him. He took the checkbook and wrote out a check for $50,000. "So how do i get this from the bank?" Dominic asked.

"Just leave everything else to me now, Young Master Donvan. And head to the hospital."

Then, the same man who had given Richard the checkbook approached Dominic, his head bowed in respect as he stretched forth both hands. Dominic gave the checkbook back to him, and the guy stepped back, awaiting orders.

"I'll go to the bank now. Young Master Dominic can take the car we came in and get to the hospital fast." Richard said and walked over to a different car. It was a red audi car. The guy who took the check went along with Richard, and they both left the mansion.

Dominic finally snapped out of his delusions as soon as the red car left and immediately entered the black sports car they had come here with. He got in to find the two men still seated quietly at the front. "The Hospital as Vast Hill road. He said, and the driver immediately started up the car's engine and drove out of the villa

As they arrived at the hospital, Dominic's anxiety grew by the second. He approached the nurse's desk hastily. "Nurse, nurse. I hope you didn't kick my mother out of that room," Dominic said, trying to sound calm.

The nurse shut him a glare and rudely replied. "About time you showed up. We can't keep wasting our resources on charity cases like your mother. It's a hospital, not a charity organisation or old people home, that you can come and dump your mom on us."

Dominic's face flushed with anger and embarrassment. He nibbled on the insides of his lower lip. "I-... I will pay it all today. Just give me a while. Please." he begged, not knowing what else to do.

"Oh, so you aren't even with the money right now? You lowlife wretched scumbag. Why must you disturb the life of others? If you have that much time, then use it to make something out of yourself."

"Young Master Dominic." Richard called as he stood there looking back and forth from Dominic to the rude nurse who scoffed at the sight of him. Dominic barely noticed the angered expression on Richard's face as his eyes focused on the suitcase on Richard's hand.

'He brought the money. Thank God.'
