Mason turned off the car engine after warming it to think about what Precious said to him. “Could there be a problem this time around?” He thought aloud his back feeling relaxed. He shook his head off, “I don't think it so a problem at all. She might only be trying to pin me down so that she can have me all but I won't accept that crazy offer from her.” He started his car engine and drove off. Vroom! Vroom! The sound of James's care came to a halt. He arranged his suit and brushed his hair off before hopping down from the car alongside his briefcase. He walked to the entrance of his company door and pushed it open. “Good Morning sir!” The voice of his secretary Rachael welcomed him. “Morning to you, Rachael. How was your weekend and how are you doing today?” He asked her still walking with a focused face to get to his office. Rachael walked alongside with him providing him with her answer, “My weekend went well and my day is going according to the way I planned it out, Sir Jam
Back at James's company two black Gwargon drove in full force and came to park at James's car park. Three well dressed men clothed in black suit was seen coming down from the car. They all walked simultaneously together to the entrance of James's company. Rachael spotted the three men and quickly rushed to their side with a bright smile dawning on her face. “Good Morning gentlemen. You are welcome to our company. What would you want us to do for you?” Rachael made them to feel at home with her welcoming voice. “Uhmm… nothing much I'd like to have a word with the owner of this company. I'm sure you received my mail earlier on, right?” He responded to her with a straight face. Rachael who was still focused on how the men dressed and how the two men at the back of the man talking to her were both putting on a shade. “Madam can you hear me at all?” Andrew moved his hands on Racheal's Facebook to bring her back together in her right senses. “Of course, I can hear you very well.” She
“Apparently No! I just felt like their presence might not be needed at the office.” She responded back to him respectfully. “Young lady, that shouldn't be your concern at all. Once we get there we’ll know if they are meant to enter your boss's office or not. For now, the focus is on how we are going to get to the office.” “That shouldn’t be a problem at all because as I’m speaking to you now we are almost at his office” She gave a straight face while responding to him. “That’s very good and I’ll love it if we get there right on time.” He added to his words while turning his face to the elevator mirror. Rachael couldn't say a word at all so she nodded her head as a form of confirmation. After so much silence in the elevator, the sound of the elevator was heard and the door was flung open for them to make their way out. “Where is the next place to go?” Andrew asked Rachael waiting for her to give them the lead. “I’ll take you to the place, sir. We are almost there and before y
Andrew and his guards made their way to the elevator and as soon as the elevator got to the last floor and was opened, they saw Lucas standing right in front of them. Lucas was surprised to see the men coming outside from the elevator so he didn't bother saying a word to them. He only watched them as they got out of the elevator with so much surprise on his face. One of the bodyguards while coming out of the elevator jacked him on his shoulder unintentionally. Lucas was about to react to the bodyguard by pulling him backward but was held back by the hands of Rachael. Rachael and Lucas walked back into the elevator holding each other hands side by side, “Who exactly are these people that just came out of the elevator?” Lucas demanded from her with a straight face. “I can't say I know who they are but let's just say our new client.” She responded to him with a calm face“New client? Is James aware of these people? Their faces aren't looking like clients but rather like detectives.”
After driving for over thirty minutes Mason's car finally came to a halt. Vroom! Vroom! He warmed his car engine before he finally turned his car off at the exact same spot where Precious said she wanted them to meet. Before hopping down from the car he dialed Precious's phone and watched it ring out loud. “Hello! Are you still at the cafe?” He placed the phone on his ear and calmly spoke to her. “Of course, I'm still there. Where else do you think I might be if not there? By the way what's keeping you for so long.” “I'm at the car park and you'll see me soon.” He hung up the call as soon as he was done passing his information. “Urgh!! That's what he keeps on saying and at the end of the day he won't still show up.” Precious pulled out her phone and dropped it on the table aggressively. Mason on the other hand made sure every one of his car doors was locked before he hopped down from the car. He pushed the door of the car opened and a well-presented lady welcomed him into the
“Mason, please don't leave me like this we can still settle this thing among ourselves rather than acting up like this.” She ran after him with tears flowing down her eyes while other customers kept on staring at them. Mason didn't succumb to her plea as he gave her deaf ears and went on walking towards where his car was parked. “You can't just leave me like this, Mason. Remember, all what we've done in the past and how I treated you so well even though I barely know you that much.” She kept on opening up to him to remind him about their past experiences. Mason was fuming in anger hearing all that she was spilling from her mouth so he angrily turned back at her and responded to her endless plea, “To hell with you and what you think we once had together. You didn't remember how much have cared about you when Louisa brought up the idea to ruin me, right?” “I thought about it, Mason. But, I couldn't open up to Louisa just like that.” She blocked the side of his car preventing him f
Louisa laughed out loud, “The only person you should ask about Precious's whereabouts is that good-for-nothing miserable manager.” She pointed her fingers at Mason. “Louisa, you have to caution the way you address your colleagues in this company. One more harsh word from you and I won't hesitate to fling you out of this office.” Micheal warned her vigorously. “If only they stop acting as if they've made it in life that's only when I'll caution myself but until then let's see how it goes.” She responded to Micheal with her eyes heavy on Mason while she chewed her gum heavily. Micheal was short of words that he didn't know the right words to use on her. So, he walked up to Mason casually where he was working on his computer, and asked him politely. “Mason, do you have any idea where Precious might be or what could be delaying her from coming to work today?”Mason cleared his throat before responding to him, “I wish I had an answer to your question but I'm sorry I don't know where Pr
“Which other way do you want me to make this work out by dragging that good-for-nothing Mason into the mud if not by involving his boss in this,” Lucas questioned James as he kept on doubting his words. “Are you sure you are not going too far with the ideas you are birthing?” James asked him one more time even in doubt. “Too much? This is far from too much. Mason, didn't know that he had stepped on the tiger's tail so I have to teach him what it means to be a tiger.” James shook his head, “I don't think this is the right step to take if it comes to my own opinion.” “You don't have to give me your own opinion. I know what is best for every one of us and I'm going to try my best to make sure that they all work out.”Lucas assured him with a slight Pat on his back. “What if things don't go as planned what will happen?” “Why are you scared over nothing, James? There is nothing that'll happen. We are going to strategically plan this out and watch how it blooms up.” James in doubt o
