“Huh? Did you say anything at all to me?” He blinked his eyes as he spoke to her.

“Wow! From your actions, I can tell you are not interested in the little conversation I'm trying to make with you.”

“Not at all, Precious. How would you say something like that? I'm interested in everything you have in store for me to hear.”

“Really?”

Mason nodded his head affirmatively, “Yes! I'm ready to have more conversations with you.”

She stared into his eyes with a side eye, “But, why were you lost in your thoughts?”

“I was only thinking of the meeting we are going to have in there and how we are going to make it work out.” He lied to her without moving a blink in his eyes.

“Are you sure Mason? I can't see the conviction in your eyes at all. You are making me feel as if I'm the one forcing you to do this with me.”
