The day was turning into dawn gradually as both James and the young lady gathered round around Lucas as he held unto Alex on his lap. James kept making some signals to the young lady as if he wanted her to say something but she was calm and didn't make any words at all. They all kept on looking at Lucas as he was holding Alex on his lap. “Are we just going to wrap our hands on our chest and not do anything about his situation?” James asked, looking all concerned for the poor Alex who looked weak. “What do you want us to do, James? The best thing to do right now is to give him enough time to gather himself before we think of the next step.” Lucas raised his head up and gave him a swift response. The young lady who has been trying to be mite without saying anything that'd make them misunderstood wood finally spoke up.“I'll go get him some water so we can leave here as soon as possible.” She stepped aside and went over to where the door was parked to go get him a bottle of water.
This time around nobody was expecting the young lady to draw into that conclusion not after the conversation they had earlier relating to the whole issue. James on the other hand, knew that Lucas was ready to put the blame on him if everything doesn't work out as planned because he was solely against him including her into their plan. He darted his eyes to take a quick glance at Lucas but he was too ashamed to do that because he couldn't even bring himself together to have a conversation with him. Lucas stood up from the ground with Alex resting his head on his shoulder, “James, I believe you know the right answer and the next line of action to take.”James didn't say a word to him as his eyes were still trying to maintain a strong glance on him. Lucas walked over to James side and whispered into his ears, “In case you need my help, I believe you know where you can call me until then meet me in the car.” He jerked him off his shoulders with Alex by his side as they made their way
James intentionally turned deaf ears to the question that was asked by him from Lucas as he wasn't in the mood to be involved in any of his conversation at all. He reached out for his keys that were stuck in his pocket before grabbing it out to start the car without saying a word at all. As he was about to turn on the car so they would be on their next location Lucas pulled him from behind with his hands tightened on his cloth as if he was trying to grip him off. “I won't sit down here and watch you move this car when I haven't gotten a valid answer as to why this young lady that has decided to keep her name anonymous from us is in here with us.” his eyes were getting reddish as he spoke aggressively. James slowly rolled his eyes off as he was sick and tired of how everything was playing out, “Can you just allow me to start this car in peace, Lucas?”“Not when she is still here with us. Didn't I tell you that you have to settle both of you differences before hoping into the car?”
James took over the wheel and sped off with Alex directing him as to where he should drive for them to get to Andrew's house before the day fully turns into dawn. They had already spent an hour and more just be driving on the road just to locate Andrew's apartment but it felt as if they weren't making any progress at all as James progressed. “Are you sure we are heading the right way?” James asked Alex who kept on peeping out of the window admiring the beautiful nature. “Of course, we are heading the right way.” He nodded his head without waving off his eyes off the beautiful trees that he kept on seeing. “But, it feels as if we aren't making any progress. Or, am I the one overthinking it because we've already spent close to an hour and we haven't arrived at our destination yet.” he pressed further with his conversation as he was not fully convinced that they are almost at the location. “I can't even say anything regarding the location because I can’t even remember the last time
Anna, Louisa and Michael laughed at Mason immediately he pronounced both Micheal and Louisa fired. They didn't even move an inch nor did9 they take his words seriously at the mention of his pronouncement. “Who do you think you are cracking these silly jokes for?” Louisa hissed at him as he shoulder clocked into his own the moment she passed beside him. “What silly jokes do you think I was cracking, Louisa?” His eyes were fixated on the three of them from the way they all lined closer to each other. “I said that you and your lover, Michael, are fired and I don't want to see any of you in this office at all, not near this company building.” Micheal waved his words away off his ears, “You must be joking, Mason. Do you think this is a dream or what?” He pinched his skin so tight and tapped on his flesh vigorously, “Does it look as if I'm dreaming . 6oss his face, “Mason, are you sure you are not feeding on your dreams? The last time I checked you were nobody who was given the opportu
"Who are they? Are you sure you are saying the right thing father?” He brought down the phone off his ears to be sure he wasn’t having a conversation with the wrong person. “Mason, you have to come to the house before they do something bad to me. I need your help right now.” The old man panicked through the call while he wrestles with his life. “Do something bad? Dad, they can't do anything to you. I want you to tell me their names so I won't hesitate to pull a call across to the police.” “Mason, I beg you don't involve the police. I.. I..” He coughed out feeling weak while he struggles to put his word together. Mason grew furious after his father didn't agree with him involving the police in a crucial situation like this and he was slowly getting pissed as to why his father doesn't want him to involve the security personnel. “Are you sure you are not pulling a prank on me? Dad, if this is not a prank, can you at least tell me why you don't want me to drag the police into
The young assistant feeling reassured by everything that Mason had said to her quickly ran on her feet to go tell the secretary and Precious who was recuperating from the whole experience. She bumped into the special office where Mason had told them to hide themselves so Louisa and her caucus wouldn't come looking for them anymore. Her heart was panting so loud and from the look on her face it felt as if she was feeling happy. “Why are you giving us that look?” The secretary who was attending to Precious questioned her. The young assistant smiled, “That's because I ran over Mason as he was about to leave the building and..”“Hold on a second!” Precious paused for a moment while struggling to raise her head off the secretary's lap. She continued giving the young assistant a worried face, “Where exactly did you say that you saw Mason again? Are you trying to tell me that Mason abandoned us here?” She coughed out groaning in pain. “Not at all, that's not what I'm trying to say, Prec
Mason cleansed the blood that was dripping out of his mouth after receiving a heavy punch from Alex. He has never for once imagined that a day like this would come where Alex whom he detested so much ever since he set his eyes on him would be the one treating him like a piece of trash. “Stand up!” Alex kicked him repeatedly, jacking him up from the floor aggressively. “And, what if I don't stand up what will you do?” Mason looked at him weekly as his eyes turned red fueling his anger to keep acting dismissive to his command. Alex was surprised at Mason's stubbornness he licked his lips giving a three-sixty-degree rotation as he swung his hands into action and gave Mason a heavy punch in his abdomen. “Do you want to still give me that conditional statement?” He bent down his face, poking it towards Mason's nose. “Please don't hurt my son anymore I beg of you.” Andrew groaned out, struggling to speak while asking for mercy from his son. “Shut up old man! I don't want you to get in
