The Journey

Lucas followed James closely from behind as they tip-toed carefully into the elevator that will take them to the ground floor where the young lady that has decided to show them the way to North Central was waiting for them.

They finally got into the elevator and started panting so loud.

“I just pray and hope that nobody gets to catch us this time around.” James said to Lucas whose face was bent to the ground as his heart raced softly.

“That's the only thing on my mind, James. I can't wait for us to make it safely out of this place without anyone stopping us.”

James looked at him and gave him a nod in accordance with whatever he had said to him.

“But, once again, James, do you really trust that lady that decided to be anonymous?”

“Not again, Lucas. I don't want to go back and forth with this same topic every time. Can we just let it slide for crying out loud.”
