“Start talking you little thwart,” Mason yelled at him.

“It's… It was..” He coughed out blood with tears dripping from his eyes.

“Common speak up. Do you think I have any more time to spare with you at all?” He popped the question at him.

“I'll confess I promise but first if I need water to calm my breath.”

“Water?”

“Yes! I can't feel my breath at all. It seems like this iron dried up the little water that was left in me.” His hand was pointing to the bottle of water on the dining table.

“You need water, right?” Mason went ahead to grab the bottle of water on the table.

“Yes! Please, Mason, I need water. I know it as being foolish by addressing you like that but believe me when I tell you that I didn't mean to say those words to you at all.”

“Well…. Save those little tears for when the cops show up.” He pushed the water to his chest and pulled a chair over to his butt.

“Thank you very much, Mason.” Alex's hands shivered as he struggled to open the bottle of water.
