However, at this time he suddenly noticed Mia in the crowd and was immediately smitten by her beauty.

Gathering himself, he slowly approached her with a lewd smile, tapping her gently on the shoulder,

“Pardon me, I couldn’t help seeing how beautiful you are. Would you mind joining me for a drink?” Will uttered.

Mia took a glance at him and was immediately irritated. This was the same man who had just tried to defame Liam a few minutes ago, and now he was asking her for a drink. No way!

Her brows creased into a frown as she shook her head, “I’m

Zion sat in his study long after midnight, replaying his conversations with Aria and Lucian Vale over and over. They both knew things. Things he didn’t. And that bothered him. What else was hidden beneath his family’s story? What secrets had Liam buried under his so-called protection? He couldn’t ask his father because he knew Liam would shut him down before he finished his first sentence. And so after a long and deep contemplation, he decided to look for himself. He had to be quiet and careful, so word would not make it back to Liam on what he was up to. He knew the moment his father found out, he would shut him down. The next morning, while the estate still slept, Zion slipped down the east wing hall. Not so many people were allowed here anymore, even the workers. It used to be where Liam’s old war room was, and since the last fight with The Tribunal, he’d chosen to keep it as an old war relic.Zion ran his hand slowly along the wall, his fingers searching for something… anything th

Inside the Marlowe Grand Hall, the real movement came from the laughter of powerful men and women sipping fine wine and trading secrets in polished voices. This was not just another meeting of the city’s top elites. It was a stage and strategic plan to pull supporters to his side, from none other than Lucian.Zion adjusted his cufflinks that night as he moved through the crowd, offering nods and faint smiles. He’d gotten a direct invite from Lucian himself and although he wasn’t sure if this was the best place for him to be right now, he knew he had to face the man one on one and try to find out what he was up to. As he moved through the grand hall, he realized how hollow the event was. To him, it was just another night, another gala filled with hollow compliments and careful alliances. After searching th

Far across in the city hall, Lucian Vale took a deep breath and then stepped onto the stage. His silver gray suit stood fitted perfectly with his contagious smile. As soon as the crowd saw him, they erupted in loud cheers and applause. He was the next best candidate for the mayor’s office and while he had not openly declared his intentions to contest in the upcoming elections, everyone knew there was no better man for the job. He waited as the murmurs quieted, then began addressing the crowd.“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming out here today. Our city has known greatness. It has also known chaos. We have seen leaders rise with power… and fall with pride.”A low hum passed through the crowd. They knew exactly who he meant.Lucian folded his hands, his voice calm but cutting. “Liam Moran rebuilt this city after the Tribunal fell. But at what cost? How many sleepless nights did our people suffer under his leadership? How many streets crumbled while he fought battles no one asked
