CHAPTER 31

Harvey and Lana were busy making preparations to leave the country. It seemed that their plan had worked, as Alfred had taken the bait and they were scheduled to fly to Mirano, a small island where the buy-ins were taking place later that day.

However, there was an underlying tension between Lana and Harvey. Something had happened between them that should never have occurred in the first place. Lana knew that they needed to address this uncomfortable situation, as it could put a strain on their relationship. Determined to have a conversation, she left her room and made her way to Harvey's. She knocked on his door.

Harvey, who couldn't sleep much either, his mind consumed by the events of the previous night, hastily opened the door and invited her in. But Lana declined, insisting that she would rather speak to him outside.
