The sudden interest of billionaires in real estate beyond Earth led to a massive gold rush for the moon, then Mars, and eventually, Titan. Given the proximity of the moon, it was easier to settle there. It was first used as a fueling station for the preparatory stage of colonizing mars. Over time, the moon got frequent visitors and it went from an interplanetary gas station to a tourist attraction site.Mars is still being terraformed and Titan is mainly a lab for extreme research or a hideout for the ultra-wealthy.The gold rush and the emerging technologies that came with it led to a massive economic boom on the Lunar surface.
