DEMON FROM HELL

Cheng walked to his chamber as he wondered how the princess knew that he was nonhuman. He is a Demon from hell. A lord demon. A ruler of all demons, the sovereign. How could she know who he is,what he is and how did he even know she knew?

He sat on his bed as he stared at the burning candle. He had a distant gaze. His enemy,his worst enemy knew his secret. Someone he couldn't stand with for few minutes knew their secret. A secret that had been and always kept had now been discovered by the princess.

When morning came,Cheng got out of his chamber and set off to meet Shang.

"She knowsband don't ask me how she knew cause I don't know",said Cheng as he heaved a big sigh and gulped the wine down his throat in one goal.

"It's fine Cheng,it's fine,let's concentrate on our stuff before the great and ambitious war of the Demons begin." Shang stated as his eyes blared of fire as he thought of the war that they are expecting.

The Demons from hell aren't just any kind. They were demons who had ranks. Cheng ruler of Hell. With a wings and ears like that of elf's. A flame it's self. A run away Ruler. A ruler who ran away from his duty but didn't leave the crown and now is been hunted.

Few hours before Jasmine was found in the stream...

Commander Fu walked in forest,in his Demonic form,his wings that were darker than the night. His horns that looked like the one of cow. His height and body frame that were huge as if he was sculpted. He walked in the lone forest so has to hide his Demonic form. And suddenly,fog filled the air and an attack began. He is a king,a ruler,a majesty and with the trait that came as that,he could see in the fog and fight with so much strength than the ones of his attackers. The fight continued until it was stopped by Ru,his brother. Who appeared with few Demons.

"Look who we have here,hmm. Our runaway ruler of Hell. Our Commander Fu. You know,you lack shame. You thought if you were reborn into the human world and form,we won't find you. Where's Shang,your loyal dog?" asked Ru,the greed.

"What do you want Ru?"Cheng asked coldly.

"What I want?uh,it's the crown. Hand it over and you can continue to live in the human world." Ru muttered. Ru,the Demon of Greed stood right in front of his brother as he requested for the crown. Without the crown,you ain't king. The exact reason Cheng left Hell was because of the kind of people that resides in it. Was it greed,lust,envy? every Demon had a terrible ambition. He wasn't exceptional but he thought for a moment back then and he went away. He came into the human world with Shang,they were born as infants but the Demon characteristics was still there. The hunted crown was in a place where he himself couldn't remember where he left it. The crown that if a human sees will faint at its appearance.

"I don't have it",said Cheng as he spread his wings and flew off,leaving the unwanted guests.

Jasmine/Princess Min couldn't stop thinking of what she saw. This was a bad place to stay and now all she wished for was to return back to the real,actual world. Maybe when she sleeps and wakes up,she did be back in her home.

She slept for five hours and woke up when her mother,the empress came to her side and asked her to get up. Immediately seeing she was still here,she couldn't help but break down in tears surprising the Empress. She cried and mumbled, "I..j--just wa..want to go home." Hicupping and mumbling incoherent words,the Empress embraced her daughter and rubbed her back as she said, "You are home,"

After sometime,she fell asleep and her mother was relieved but at the same time worried, so she requested for the presence of the Emperor. Emperor Luhan came and saw his wife with a worrying expression and asked what happened.

Empress Jia explained to her husband of how their daughter was crying. She explained to him how she noticed she had been behaving somehow since the day she was found in the stream. She looked frightened and was staying indoors always and flinched at the name of Cheng.

Emperor Luhan assured his wife that their daughter was going to be fine and both of them decided to stay until she was awake.

Jasmine woke up again and then decided to accept her fate. She saw the Emperor and Empress on the couch asleep and couldn't help but smile. Her parents too were like this. So in love with each other.

Was that the end of her crush on Fu Cheng?because she didn't even understand any longer. Was this her fate? to get into a novel. Her favourite novel for that matter and sadly,changes occured in the novel. The story she read was a simple and sweet story but this isn't. This is turning into a nightmare. The sight of Fu Cheng still feared her. He looked just like the definition of the Demon. With the horns,body and flames. Everything was just like the devil but he she didn't see wings. Doesn't he have?or does he? geez,she shouldn't get curious at this state. It was curiosity that lead her to this. She should have just listened to him. Curiosity kills. That adage,she just understood it. She had always be curious and now...

She shouldn't even have come back to this era. If she was in the modern era,she could have eloped. Go to a place where she wouldn't be found but here,there was nowhere to run to. And can she even out run the Demon. She even wondered if there were Demons in any Chinese novel.

The Empress stirred in her sleep and woke up. She saw her daughter awake and rushed to meet her. The Emperor too who woke up immediately his wife took her hands away from his stood up and moved to their daughter's bed.

"Are you alright?Min,are you ok? "asked Empress Jia.

"Mmh",said Jasmine and her father rubbed his hand on her head.

"Daughter,come let's get you fed",the Emperor said and suddenly a knock was heard. Asking whosoever was there to come in,the maid said, "Princess Min has a visitor."

"Who?"asked Jasmine in a low tone.

"Second commander Fen",said the maid and instantly Jasmine froze.
