CHAPTER 156

“You made it,” Charlotte said with a bright smile.

Nathan swallowed. She had told him earlier at the mall that she was going to show up at the fest but he wasn’t expecting her to appear right in front of him. “Have a seat please.” He said.

She quickly went for the chair opposite him.

Mike pulled out his phone and was soon busy with it.

The square was getting busier as various dignitaries kept trouping in while the hosts were acknowledging them.

“I hope I’m not bothering you,” Charlotte said and flipped her straight hair. She was wearing a red ball gown and had red long gloves on that made Nathan think she looked like the England princesses of the 18th century.

He shook his head. “Of course, you are not bothering me.”

She smiled and then cleared her throat loudly, pondering on the next line to throw at Alex. All Charlotte wants is to build an acquaintance with Alex Alcantara so she had promised to take any opportunity she gets to engage him in a conversation.
