CHAPTER 421

Nathan was going through his family’s photo album in the living room when Jackson walked up to him with a glass of wine.

“Thank you.” Nathan said and accepted the drink. He shut the album and carefully placed it on the stool.

“Are you okay?”

Nathan flashed a smile and mumbled that he was good. Jackson could tell that the boy was missing his parents.

“If you need anything, just let me know.” Said Jackson.

Nathan chuckled and took a sip from his glass. “You know you’ve been doing really well with taking good care of me, Jackson.”

“I’m just doing my job.” Replied Jackson. “And besides, you make everything so easy.”

“I thought your job is to keep me safe. Does it entail overfeeding me and booking club houses?” Nathan teased.

They both laughed.

“The day I became your bodyguard was the day I sold my allegiance to your family. Your family has done a lot for me which you might not be aware of but trust me when I say that I will lay down my life for you.”
