Chapter 133

Nathan led Charlotte into the restaurant. They identified an empty booth and sat opposite each other.

“Why don’t you place an order first before we talk about the business deal,” Charlotte told Nathan.

“And you? Did you have anything at all?” he asked and signaled to one of the waitresses loitering around.

“I had soda before the client arrived. I’m good.” She replied and crossed her legs.

Before the waitress arrived at the table to take down his orders, Nathan had already quickly gone through the menu card and had made a decision.

“Are you sure you don’t need anything?” Nathan turned to Charlotte. “Maybe a snack or another soda?”

She shook her head in filial objection.

The waitress arrived at their table and Nathan pointed his orders to her. She took them down in her journal and left.

He turned to Charlotte with his hands on the table. “Tell me more about your meeting with the clients.”
