Chapter 200

Nathan stood up after the vans drove past the shrubs. It was already getting dark and the road was getting deserted. He identified a lemon tree and hurried toward it. He rested his back against the tree and groaned.

“Shit!”

He wiped his sweaty forehead with the edge of his palm and noticed the bruise on his elbow. Nathan sighed.

His phone began to ring from his jacket. It was at that point that Nathan remembered stuffing the phone inside his vest a while ago. He quickly responded to the call.

“Where are you, young master? Are you hurt?” Mike flung questions at him.

“Jackson asked me to roll out,” Nathan replied and began to step out of the shrubs. He noticed a signpost. “I’m at Melvin junction. I’m alone.”

“Stay there and don't move an inch. I’m on my way with backup. We’ll be there soon.”Mike replied and hung up.

Nathan stood beside the signpost. He stared at his Gucci shoes. They had traces of clay and his outfit was stained with clay and mist.
