Chapter 379

Suddenly, Kelvin stood up and began marching toward their table. The boys exchanged glances. Nathan leaned toward Charles and whispered.

“Your guy is up. Just as expected.”

They both cleared their throats loudly and looked in the direction of Kelvin. While Nathan was prepared not to entertain any verbal exchange with him, Charles was bent on retaliation.

There was something about Kelvin’s demeanor Nathan noticed. His face bore a solemn expression, unlike its usual hard nature. Rather than charging toward them, he was simply walking up to them.

When Kelvin made it to the table, he pulled the chair directly opposite them and sank on it. He sighed and mumbled a soft “Hi!”

Nathan swallowed and gave a response. Charles said nothing. He assumed that Kelvin was playing one of his tricks on them.

“Can I crash over here? It’s a bit lonely there.” He requested and fell back on the chair after turning to stare at the spot he earlier occupied.”

Charles began to loosen up.
