CHAPTER 21

Dr. Barnes decided to place a call to Greg’s father. Immediately after the man picked up the call, the vice chancellor stood up and began to pace in his office, aimlessly.

“Good evening Mr. Baker. I trust you are doing fine!” the vice chancellor began after clearing his throat loudly.

“I’m good Dr. Barnes. How may I help you?” replied Greg’s father.

Again, Dr. Barnes cleared his throat loudly and stared at the watch on, his left wrist. “We have a slight problem, Mr. Baker. Gregory involved.”

“Gregory?” Mr. Baker demanded in a tone that suggested that the boy wasn’t bound to be found erring.

The vice chancellor knew that it was paramount he chooses his words carefully at the moment else the Baker family was going to lay off the support it was giving the school.

“You know these kids and how they behave.” Dr. Barnes began. “These boys are hotheads and will always look for the slightest opportunities to flex their muscles. So, there was a fight between a boy and Greg this eveni
