Nathan darted his gaze down to the man kneeling before him. He sighed and ran his left hand through his hair.

“Get up Bart!”

The man was indecisive. Should he remain on his knees and continue to plead for mercy or should he stand up as Nathan requested he wondered.

“Get up and return to your office,” Nathan stated.

Bart stood up and turned away. He couldn’t even look Nathan in the face.

Nathan watched him turn around and head back to his office. He then pulled out his phone and placed a call to Larry.

“Come and meet me inside the bank at the reception downstairs.”

Nathan made his way down the staircase. He marched to the security officers at the doorpost.

Daylan, the security officer who had seen Bart kneeling before Nathan walked up to him.

“Get two staff from the deposit counter to the customer care unit immediately. Things are getting messy in there. Tell them it’s the manager’s orders.” Nathan instructed.

Daylan nodded in understanding and swung into action.
