Chapter 23

Nathan stared at the portrait of his parents in amazement. They looked younger and his mother’s bright smile illuminated the portrait. He was glad that she never had cancer and he would never have to worry himself sick about her.

Mike pointed to the first room on Nathan’s right. “That’s your room, Young Master.”

With a bright smile, Nathan charged toward the room. Mike slipped his hand into his pocket and pulled out a bunch of keys. He passed them to Nathan who didn’t waste any time grabbing them from him.

The door had an inscription in gold. The letter N was slapped on the door and Nathan concluded that it was the first letter of his name.

“You’ll love it!” Mike said before Nathan could open the door.

Nathan hurriedly opened the door and walked into his new room.

“Why don’t you check out your new room and then freshen up? I’ll be waiting for you downstairs.” Said Mike who was standing by the door.
