Chapter 22

It's Monday, the world's most busy and official day. Damien woke up to his alarm clock, feeling so dizzy and having a migraine from last night's event.

He decided to rest a bit so the pains could reduce.

“Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr………..” the alarm clock rang a few minutes later, so loud, piercing and jarring that it made Damien jolt out of bed.

“Oooo… can you ever stop being annoying?” He rhetorically asked, as if he was talking to a living being.

“What! It's 8.00am already? Oh no I am so late and I have a presentation today” Damien freaked out when he noticed he was running late.

He quickly rushed out of the bed, skipped his morning workout because there was time, brushed his teeth and quickly freshened up.

Today he didn't take time to select what he wanted to wear, he just picked up a navy blue blazer and a black shoe that matched his black wrist watch.
